We are excited to announce we have another Bird Walk coming up this month! Join Sorrel for a bird walk and talk around Victoria Park this May.
Victoria Park and the Connswater Greenway are fantastic places to see birds and other wildlife right on our doorstep here in East Belfast. Join Join Sorrel from the British Trust of Ornathology for a relaxed walk to learn about and enjoy our local birdlife.
You don’t need to know anything about birds to come along! We’ll provide binoculars and bird guides.
Travel: CS Lewis Square is situated on the G1 Glider and bus service 3 lines (Connswater stop), see the Translink website for more details.
Accessibility: This event is accessible to disabled people – the paths along the Connswater Greenway and around Victoria Park are wide, tarmacked and flat. We value the inclusion of all communities and protected characteristics. If you have any questions about accessibility for this event, please contact northern.ireland@bto.org.
Toilets: There is a pay toilet, including an accessible toilet, in Victoria Park.
What to bring: Bring warm and waterproof clothes, trainers or similar footwear will be suitable for the tarmac and short grass paths.
