The Greenway is a really special place supported by staff, volunteers and YOU – the EastSide community.
We want our Greenway to stay safe and clean and be an amazing greenspace and resource for everyone to enjoy.
It’s a great place to do so many things, it’s for families, young people, organisations, residents and visitors. It makes us healthier, happier and is a peaceful escape from the busy city.
Let’s look after it together.
We deliver calendar of free activities and events to choose from year around at the Greenway. Whether you’re an avid birdwatcher, yogi or park runner, you can find something to brighten your week. Better still, most events are free!
Take time out in nature and discover the Greenway wildlife, you can listen to the birds, glimpse a kingfisher, go on a Bat Walk at sunset, or just enjoy the seasons unfold.
Get fitter on the Greenway. Run, cycle, play, stretch or recover – whether you are marathon training or getting back on your feet.
The Greenway is so much more than a park. It can be a place to learn, a place to explore, a place to perform or a day out in nature.
Take the traffic free route. Walk or wheel it to work or school through the Greenway.
Join us and Go Greenway to ensure there is a lasting legacy for future generations.
