This special Narnia themed market including home-grown produce and local traders will be the perfect chance to support local businesses while getting ready for Christmas!

During the market children can enjoy a variety of activities including arts and crafts, face painting, street performances, storytelling, activity in magical imagination pods, Narnia inspired Minecraft Workshops (booking required for these workshops – https://eastside.ticketsolve.com/shows/873640325/events) and the C.S. Imagination Pods
Explore our ‘snow-globe’ imagination pods which will be beautifully decorated with Narnia-esque winter foliage, magical twinkling lights, fresh & faux foliage and snowy trees to create the perfect setting for children and families to enjoy sensory play (early years – 8yrs), storytelling (age 4-11 yrs), and walk-about characters (all ages).
Sensory play
Time: 1pm-3pm
Age: 1-8 yrs
Unique, enjoyable, fun and interactive sensory play experience for children, especially toddlers and children with additional needs. All staff are qualified educators / play professionals and have extensive experience of working with children with additional needs. Parents / carers can spend quality time with their children and pick up ideas for play at home.
Storytelling
Time: 2-3:30pm
Age: 4-11
Join Still I Rise and listen to specially themed stories for the C.S. Lewis Festival that celebrate our differences, promote diversity and encourage great conversations.
Walkabout Characters
Time: 2:30-4:30pm
Age: 3-11
Come down and take a visit to see Bread and Ginger, the all-singing, all-dancing Gingerbread duo! See them delight audiences young and old as they bring hearty Christmas cheer to C.S. Lewis Square.
EastSide Choir
Formed in 2016 and led by Choir Directors Ryan Greer and Helena Howie, the EastSide Choir has 35 dedicated members!
From 4pm, the EastSide Choir will ease you into the seasonal spirit with performances of traditional carols, Irish folk songs, and family favourites. Make sure to warm up your voices and get ready to sing along!
