Kick sampling is used to help protect the water quality of our rivers, improve our understanding of the species living in the river, and to help monitor and conserve habitats. It is an important element of looking after the Greenway that our staff and volunteers carry out monthly and if you are curious, we are delighted to invite to come and see what it is all about.
We welcome people of all ages to come to the Hollow and take part in this interactive kick sampling session to discover the range of species living in the Connswater River.
