We see the Greenway as a transformational asset, not just in east Belfast but in Belfast and NI as a whole. Since it has opened, we have seen it go from strength to strength having both intended and unintended outcomes with environmental, social and economic impact as well as the impact on people’s health and well being.
Building on the success of CCG, we are now asking ourselves, how can we create a vision for the future of the Greenway to make it more sustainable and climate resilient? How can we do this in a way that helps east Belfast to be more resilient as well?
We are excited to be working with Queens University Belfast and The Paul Hogarth Company on a unique opportunity to develop a Vision for Future Proofing the Connswater Community Greenway!
We would like to invite you to come along to our workshop day on Wednesday 1st March at The Skainos Centre where we are asking everyone to help us create this vision.
