Facilities

There is no parking available at Flora Street Walkway but it is within a short walk from Connswater Retail Park and Avoniel Leisure Centre both offering car parking facilities.

There are no public toilets located along Flora Street Walkway. In the case of an emergency, toilets are available at the Avoniel Leisure Centre.

Play parks and pitches

Flora Street Play Park (also known as Friendship play park) is situated along the Flora Street Walkway alongside a MUGA (Multi Use Game Area). The newly renovated Avoniel Leisure Centre is situated along the Walkway and offers fantastic new facilities including; 3G 7-a-side pitch, full size intermediate standard pitch, sports pavilion, 5-a-side pitch, meeting rooms, changing facilities and a car park.

Refreshments

There are several options for refreshments at the Connswater Retail Park including Starbucks and Tim Hortons as well as McDonalds, Subway and KFC for hot food options.

Getting there

Flora Street Walkway can be accessed via;

1. The Connswater Community Greenway from Beersbridge Road or from Connswater Retail Park
2. The Mill Bridge at Bloomfield Parade
3. The Beersbridge Road at Elmgrove Primary School
4. The Flora Street gate entrance

If you are travelling by bus from Belfast city centre, take Metro no. 18, 19 or 19A from Belfast city centre and get off at Beersbridge Road.
