The Connswater Community Greenway is managed through an innovative partnership arrangement between ESG and BCC, underpinned by a Memorandum of Understanding and Legal Agreement which was agreed in 2020.

It was agreed that EastSide Greenways and Belfast City Council would work together to maintain and develop Connswater Community Greenway as an inspirational ‘living landmark’ that is well used, vibrant, dynamic and sustainable, for maximum benefit while achieving demonstrable impact in east Belfast and the rest of the city.

We work to share resources and relevant expertise for the long term delivery of the Connswater Community Greenway within the East Side Greenways network.

Some of the work we do includes supporting Belfast City Councils Management and Maintenance programme through engagement and reporting issues we see on the Greenway.
